I have become addicted to this series--I can't wait for my real life to finish for the day so I can get back into the world with Dar and Kerry! I just don't want to put it down, and have stayed up much later than is good for me because I didn't ever come to a good stopping place! Dar and Kerry have such complementary qualities that they are both appealing to me at times--sometimes I identify with Dar, sometimes with Kerry. I have come to love them both and am fiercely rooting for them, both individually and in their relationship. I started reading the first book in the series with some skepticism about actually reading so many books in a series about the same characters, but by now I expect to read every book about them I can get my hands on. Having just finished only the third of eleven books, I am already regretting there is a finite number of books in the series. I hope the story line doesn't conclude with some definite end to the Dar and Kerry story, but maybe leaves an opening for ongoing additions!

Finially got to Melissa Goods Books. Well I read the first 3 then went and got the next 7 then had to get the last Kerry and Dar book could not put them down read or listened to them straight through all 11 and am now reading partners 1 and 2.Am hoping that she has written more and that they will soon be ebooks.Love the stories tight fast and lots of twists.And her love sceanes are under stated suttal.
I loved the interaction between the characters. This story at times had me at the edge of my seat and I couldn't wait to read more.
everything the author writes is a must buy for me- haven't read a bad story yet=-fantastic character development and dialog brings it all to life- a truly awesome series
What a fantastic writer!! Melissa Good is able to move a story along at a very well set pace. She keeps you invested in the Dar and Kerry relationship with out going into unnecessary details about their love (aka not smut). What a great book to show the normality of a Lesbian relationship. It is clear that Dar and Kerry love each other and don't let the ignorance or biases of other people get between them. The book is a perfect balance of action, romance, danger, and family values!!! Yet another winner by Melissa Good!! On to the Next Book!!!

I got hooked on the Dar and Keri series a couple of months ago and just finished this -the 3rd book by Melissa Good.
For anyone that has read the first two books this one will definitely not disappoint you. Once again, I could barely put the book down. I laughed out loud at some points and once even had to struggle to keep from crying while reading in a crowded lunchroom. Melissa...you need to add some "get a kleenex" warnings!
In this one, Dar stays tough but there could be a little more emotion peeking through that armor this time! Kari is as sharp and sweet as ever. Kari's dad makes even more of an ass of himself and once again there are people in the office out to get our gals in trouble.
There are some unexpected surprises that will sneak up on you right out of the blue.
If you are looking for an x-rated steamy story you won't find it here. What you will find is two characters you will appreciate and grow to love and no dull moments.

Book three I found to be quite entertaining and leaves the reader wanting to know what next will happen to our two IT executives. I find the series very entertaining. There are protions of the series overall and in this book that I would call page turners. I have found more than once where I was not able to put the book down becasue I wanted to know what would happen next. I read this particular book non-stop within the same 24-hour period. The writer has a way of providng daily and moment by moment discussion about our two characters that is not mundane nor anticipated, this why I find the book and the series very enjoyable and entertaining to read. As a long time ( 35+ years) lesbian fiction reader, I require that the novels I read must be fun and relaxing to me since I read non-ficton materials all day in my professional career. This author and the series fits into my personal life style reading enjoyment. Worth the read but make sure you start off with book one ( Tropical Storm) so you don't miss how each book plays into the entire series.
